We moved in June!
17/12/2009 by Stephen Dawson.
AMTRA moved to its new Woolpit offices in June, but we’re still getting a lot of post to the old Hollesley address - even including forms which already have the new address on them!
Please check that your databases and address books, and your accounts department computers, are all updated. And if you have old enrolment or exam booking forms lying around, please download fresh copies from the AMTRA website.
Thanks very much.

Supply and use of premixtures by the domestic keeper
11/12/2009 by Stephen Dawson.
VMD has issued a clarification note regarding the use of Flubenvet Wormer premixture in domestic poultry.
VMD has received further information whichexplained the difficulties experienced by domestic keepers related to availability of a cost effective wormer medication. They have acted on this information and announced that they will allow domestic keepers to mix both the 60g and 240g Flubenvet Premixture products without being approved by the Animal Medicines Inspectorate (AMI) provided they do not sell eggs or meat to third parties. Nevertheless, our legislation still requires the suppliers of the 240g Flubenvet Premixture to be approved as a distributor as a premixture which is sufficient to manufacture more than 30kg of final feed is not covered under the exemption.
More details in the VMD’s note.
